Otaniemi campus provides more than 10 student restaurants scattered around the area. The restaurants are open to all Aalto students, staff and other people as well!

Important tips:

• Use kanttiinit.fi to check the menus and open hours
• All restaurants provide both vegan and non-vegan options
• Beware of long queues during peak hours (11-13)
• Take the food first and then pay (except Menssa and A-Bloc, there it’s vice versa)
• At most restaurants you can only pay by card
• The lunch price is €3.1 for students
• Show your student card (Frank App) to the cashier to get the student price
• In most restaurants, you can also get à la carte for around €5.60 — a bigger portion, and usually better food!
• Get your student card (Frank App) ready before you get to the cashier; this way, people won’t have to wait behind you 🙂

• Täffä

  Beware of long queues for the infamous Wednesday Spagu (spaghetti bolognese)! 🍝

• A-Bloc

  Located on the second floor of A-Bloc, the staircase is next to R-Kioski 🅰️

• CS Building

  You might be here a lot, so it will be nearby 🥰

• Dipoli

  Located on the second floor of Dipoli, there’s a small staircase upstairs. Also it’s a beautiful building! 🌲

• Menssa

  Lunch is €5.50 but you can usually take as much as you want on your plate (only one plate though). Students usually find the food here of high quality 😎

• TUAS

  Located “behind” the CS Building, usually has the best bread selection!
