Unisport is a joint sports and well-being service organisation owned by Aalto University, Hanken, the University of Helsinki and the University of the Arts. They are Finland's largest organisation providing university sports services and also one of the largest organisations providing sports services!

Unisport has by far the most affordable and accessible facility in Otaniemi. It is located next to the sports field in Otaranta, more precisely here! You can check its virtual tour here.

Unisport Otaniemi is more commonly known as the gym, and it has three floors! Here you can do free weight training, functional training, cardio training, badminton, field hockey, basketball, volleyball, yoga, and there’s even a little boxing section. And, of course, so much more!

Membership

Most people buy a 12-month membership, and there are two options:

  1. Full time: 176€ / year
  2. Part time: 99€ / year

To get a membership, you need to create an account, choose your membership plan, and show up to the Otaniemi Unisport to get the physical access card from customer service. Don’t forget to buy a lock for yourself to use it with your locker, but you can also buy one at customer service. With a Unisport membership you can also train in the Unisport gyms in Kluuvi, Kumpula, Meilahti and Töölö.

NOTE: The first Unisport session is always free, so just ask customer service for a free training session to check out the gym!
